William Madison Smith passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 37 years old.

Born in Edison on January 8, 1987, he was a lifelong resident of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township.

Mr. Smith worked as an auto recovery technician for B&L Recovery and Towing in Carteret for the past 4 years; and had a special love for automobiles. Unselfish to the end, he donated organs through the New Jersey Sharing Network to help others live.

Surviving are his children, Jaxon Carl Smith and Ivy Smith; father, Carl Smith; mother, Janice Conger; grandmother, Dorothea Smith; and sisters, Danielle Whilden and Kimberly Holland.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
