William J. Janeck passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 63 years old.

Born in Belleville on April 22, 1960 to the late Martha and Walter Janeck, he has resided in Woodbridge for 34 years.

Mr. Janeck was employed as a plumber through Local #9 of the Plumber's and Pipefitter's Union in Manalapan for many years.

His many interests included collecting antiques and records and trips to Atlantic City, but his true passion was the outdoors. He especially loved fishing, boating and spending time at the beach.

In addition to his parents, William was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Smolko; and brother, Walter Janeck.

Surviving are his wife of 18 years, Nadiya Nechyporenko Janeck; children, Caitlin Janeck of Milltown, Daniel Janeck of Fords and McKayla Janeck of Woodbridge; sister, Cynthia Janeck-Luongo; brother, James Janeck; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
