Obituary

William R. Dudik passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 after a long illness. He died peacefully and was surrounded by his family at The Kindred Hospital in Rahway. He was 80 years old.

Mr. Dudik was born in Fords and resided in Edison and Warwick, NY, before moving to Maher Manor in Old Bridge 12 years ago.

He attended Perth Amboy High School Class of 1956 and Newark College of Engineering and enjoyed a long & diverse career in HVAC, retiring from AMI Services Inc. in Waldwick, NJ in 2001 as VP, Service and Sales. Most recently, William held a part-time position with the Old Bridge YMCA until 2012. William was a communicant of Saint Thomas-Apostle R.C. Church in Old Bridge and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps.

He loved life! Wanted to live forever. He enjoyed dancing, gardening and cooking loved to jazz it up!!! He was a devoted Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend. His favorite saying was "A life without laughter is not worth living, might as well be dead ".

He was predeceased by his former wife, Roberta Owsik, in 2008; brother, Gerald in 2017; and by his parents William Dudik and Teresa Gervasio.

Surviving are his devoted daughter, Sherry Dudik Frederick, of Neptune; grandchildren, Alexa Rae Frederick and Nicole Dior Frederick; and brother, Robert Dudik, of Monroe.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:15 am on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at St. Thomas-Apostle R.C.Church, 333 NJ Route18 South, Old Bridge, NJ 08857. A Luncheon will follow the mass at 12:00 pm at Ponte Vecchio Grill at The Village Town Center, 3863 Route 516 East, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.

Final interment with military honors will be scheduled at a later date at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ, 08562.
