William "Bill" A. Dalley passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at his home in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township. He was 77 years old.

Born on June 7, 1948 in Irvington to the late Cathern and Charles Dalley, he resided in Newark before moving to Iselin in 1973.

William worked for many years as a warehouseman at Pantry Pride, Twin County Grocers and later at Barclay Brand, where he was known for his dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic. He was a proud member of Teamsters Local 863 in Mountainside and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 447 in South Plainfield, reflecting his deep commitment to hard work and solidarity.

A passionate fan of horse racing, William also loved cheering for the Yankees and 49ers. Music filled his life—especially the sounds of Chicago (during the Peter Cetera era), Billy Joel, and Frankie Valley & the Four Seasons.

William never met a stranger. He had a gift for conversation and a heart for others, going out of his way to help family, friends, and even those he'd just met. His kindness, witty personality, warmth, and generosity left a lasting mark on everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sharon Saam Dalley, in 2022; and brother, Robert Dalley.

Surviving are his daughters, Michele Joe and her husband, Thomas, of Woodbridge and Stacey Bradford and her husband, Scott, of Sayreville; brother, Gerald Dalley and sister-in-law Marsha of FL, grandchildren, Zachary, Thomas, Katherine and Emily as well as several nieces and nephews.

God is now watching over him as he rests peacefully, reunited with Sharon. William will be forever missed, deeply loved, and always remembered.

Services were private under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), Woodbridge.
