William G. Bunavage passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at his home in Woodbridge, surrounded by his loving family. He was 73 years old.

Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, he resided in Linden before moving to Woodbridge 49 years ago.

William served in the United States Coast Guard during the Vietnam War.

Bill was employed as a sales representative with the Hastings Group Prior to his retirement; and had previously worked as an installer with NJ Bell Telephone and international salesperson with AT&T Corporation.

He was a communicant of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Port Reading.

Mr. Bunavage was predeceased by his parents, Mary and William M. Bunavage.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Nancy C. McGuire Bunavage; daughter, Jessica M. Bunavage of Woodbridge; son, William C. Bunavage of Woodbridge; sister, Joan Horvath of San Diego, CA; and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Port Reading. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday evening from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
