Warren J. Devine passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 92 years old.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on December 18, 1930, he was a graduate of James Madison High School in Brooklyn.

He served in the United States Army for several years before being discharged as a Corporal. Mr. Devine worked in sales for most of his life with Trautwein Fire Engines in Woodbridge, Brennan Brothers Rigging Company in Avenel and retired from Lomma Cranes and Rigging in Kearney.

Warren belonged to Post 2116, B.P.O.E. Elks in Woodbridge; and was an avid golfer and longtime member of Colonia Country Club.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Arlene Pocchiari, in 2005; son, Andrew Devine, in 2016; and mother, Ruth Wechsler Swift, in 1997.

Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years, Barbara Hausser Devine; son, Dennis Devine, of Martinsville; and grandchildren, Nicole Jackson, Daniel Devine and Michael Devine.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.
