Walter Joseph Lodzinski passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington. He was 70 years old.

Born on January 12, 1954 in Elizabeth to the late Bertha and Joseph Lodzinski, he lived in Rahway and Roselle Park for most of his life before moving to Hampton five months ago.

Mr. Lodzinski worked as a store manager with Pathmark and Target stores before his retirement.

He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Bertha Wladyslawa Lodzinski; a sister and brother-in-law Caroline and William Konopka.

Surviving are his beloved wife Catherine Dino Lodzinski; and children, Nicholas Eucaliptus of Monroe and Emily Heiry and her husband, John, of Hampton; and his grandson Jack Heiry.

A funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, 14, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Entombment of his remains will follow at Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visiting for family and friends will be on Tuesday morning beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
