Walter Alan Conklin passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at his home in Woodbridge. He was 47 years old.

Born in Perth Amboy, he resided in Iselin before moving to Woodbridge 21 years ago.

Walter was a 1986 graduate of John F. Kennedy Memorial High School in Iselin.

He has been employed as a landscaper with Expert Stump Removal and as a driver for Exotic Flowers and More in Edison for the past 30 years.

Walter was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Dorothy Kaczynski Conklin.

Surviving are by two sisters, Sandy Gwiazdowski of Woodbridge and Michele Sanzone of Cranford; three brothers, Alan Conklin of Fords, David Conklin of New Egypt and John Conklin of Woodbridge; and eight nieces and nephews.

A prayer service will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.costello-greiner.com ), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home
