Vladimir A. "Val" Stiglich passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 85 years old.

Born in Woodbridge on July 19, 1939 to the late Julia and Vladimir Stiglich, Sr., he has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township for 50 years.

Mr. Stiglich was a 1957 graduate of Woodbridge High School, and then worked for one year with Westinghouse Corporation. Thereafter he graduated Newark College of Engineering, now NJIT, with a degree in electrical engineering in 1962. Upon graduation he was employed as a manager with I.T.T. Corporation in New York City for 30 years before his retirement. After retiring from I.T.T. Corporation he worked as a consultant with A.T.&T. Corporation in New Jersey.

He a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel.

In addition to his parents Mr. Stiglich was predeceased by a sister, Katherine Kazlauskas.

Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years, Rosalie A. Mensorio Stiglich; nephews, John J. Kazlauskas of Woodbridge and Andrew J. Kazlauskas of Lancaster, PA; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, April 14, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Saint James Chapel Mausoleum.
