Vivian E. Unger passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Haven Hospice at JFK Meridian Hospital in Edison. She was 87 years old.

Born in Elizabeth, she resided in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township for the past 61 years.

Mrs. Unger was a communicant of Saint John Vianney Catholic Church in Colonia.

She was predeceased by her husband, William L. Unger, in 2009.

Surviving by her daughter, Nancy Unger, of Colonia; son, William Unger, and his wife, Laura, of Woodbridge; niece, Monica Lagano, and her husband, Paul; and nephews, Dominic Lagano and Jordan Lagano.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October, 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:45 a.m. at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church in Colonia. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
