Virginia Thanasoulis of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at home. She was 80 years old.

Born in Linden, NJ; She resided in Staten Island before moving to Avenel.

She graduated from Port Richmond High School in Staten Island.

Ms. Thanasoulis was employed as a cleaner at P.S. # 20 in Staten Island, NY.

She was predeceased by her parents William and Dora Beattie Nannery.

Surviving are two daughters Stacy Thanasoulis, and Dora D'Angelo; 3 sons Gus Thanasoulis, George Thanasoulis, and Thomas Thanasoulis; a sister Grace SanPhillips; two brothers Robert Nannery, and James Nannery; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral will take place Wednesday, December 30, 2015 10:00 a.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home ( www.Costello-koyen.com ) 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
