Virginia Terranova passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains. She was 75 years old.

Born in Newark, she has resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township since 1973.

Mrs. Terranova was employed as an assembler with Hyatt Roller Bearing in Clark for many years and later worked in the Information Technology department of Toys R Us before her retirement.

She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Terranova, in 2014; and her mother, Helen Weinmann, in 2001.

Surviving are her son, Henry Blank and his wife, Cathy, of Vacaville, CA; daughters, Patricia Bergstrom and her husband, Carl, of Ashland, MA and Diane Lynch and her husband, Patrick, of Ashland, MA; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
