Violetta Ziccardi of Franklin, Indiana formerly of Woodbridge passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Morning Point of Franklin Assisted Living in Franklin, Indiana. She was 83 years old.

Born in Newark, NJ; She resided in Woodbridge for 50 years moving to Indiana 3 years ago.

Mrs. Ziccardi was a homemaker and also worked as a secretary at various places of employment.

She was a communicant of St. James R.C. Church in Woodbridge.

Violetta was predeceased by her Husband Joseph Ziccardi who passed away in 2003; two sisters Mary DeSantis, and Jean Ziccardi; two brothers Peter Acquaviva and Eugene Acquaviva.

She is survived by a daughter Michele Johns and her husband David of Bargersville, Indiana; two sons Michael V. Ziccardi and his wife Luanne of North Carolina, and Vincent J. Ziccardi and his wife Jodi of Woodbridge; two brothers Artie Acquaviva of Old Bridge, and Vincent Acquaviva of Chester; She was the loving grandmother of twelve grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren: and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral will take place Monday, August 8, 2016 9:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home ( www.Costello-greiner.com ) 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
