Vincent Ciarricco passed away at Brighton Gardens in Edison on Saturday, December 3, 2022. He was 89 years old.

Born in Rahway on September 26, 1933 to the late Dominick and Tomasina Bonerico Ciarricco, he resided in Rahway before moving to the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township 58 years ago.

He was a Graduate of Rahway High and served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War.

Mr. Ciarricco was employed as a Senior Machinist with the Regina Corporation in Rahway for 33 years and then as a Building Engineer with Woodbridge Township at the Evergreen Senior Citizens Center for 25 years, before retiring in 2017.

Mr. Ciarricco enjoyed family vacations and was very generous to numerous non-profit organizations, especially Lakeview School in Edison where his daughter Joanne attended school and Spectrum for Living where Joanne is a resident. Vincent was a devout Roman Catholic and a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ciarricco was predeceased by his wife Ann Roszits Ciarricco who passed away on October17, 2022; his sister Marie Engel and his brothers, Ralph Ciarricco and Carmen Ciarricco.

Surviving are his daughters, Marianne Ciarricco-Cunningham and her husband, Joseph, of Elizabeth, Theresa Nichols and her husband, John, of Aberdeen and Joanne Ciarricco of Edison; his grandchildren, Megan Cunningham and James Nichols; and a cousin Mary Freil of Wilimington, Delaware.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. The Funeral will take place on Friday, December 9, 2022 9:00 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home 399 Avenel Street, Avenel a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will follow at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, North Madison Avenue, Avenel. Interment will follow in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
