Victoria Pesce passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at her home in Woodbridge. She was 97 years old.

She was born in North Bergen, she has resided in Woodbridge since 1924.

Miss Pesce graduated from the College of Saint Elizabeth in 1940 with a bachelor's degree in education and received her master's degree in guidance in 1949 from Seton Hall University and retired in 1978 after 36 years as an english teacher at Woodbridge High School.

She was an active communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge, and counted the collection every week for many years; She belonged to the College of Saint Elizabeth Alumnae Association and Woodbridge Township Retired Educators Association.

Miss Pesce was predeceased by her parents, Andonetta and Arcangelo Pesce; two sisters, Susan and Betty; and a brother, Anthony M. Pesce.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Saint James Cemetery, Woodbridge. There will be no visitation.
