Obituary

Victoria Ciuffreda St. Marie entered into eternal peace on September 30, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Port reading, devoted daughter of the late Biagio and Libra Ciuffreda. She lived there until her marriage and then moved to Perth Amboy where she resided for over 60 years. She graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School the worked as a secretary at Flagstaff Foods and National Lead Research of Sayreville until the birth of her daughter then became a homemaker. Vickie took great pride in her home and enjoyed entertaining, cooking, and baking, especially her blueberry muffins for family, friends and the Most Holy Rosary Church bake sale. She also looked forward to working for the church festa each year. Vickie enjoyed her European trip and travelling across the United States and Canada. She was predeceased by her brother, Leo and his wife, Helen; her brother, Nicholas and his wife, Millie; her sister, Mary and her husband, Harry Chasey; her sister, Frances and her husband, Jack Lombardo; her sister, Jennie and her husband, Edwin Kurabieski; nephew, Victor Chasey; sisters in-law, Irene and Rosemary St. Marie, Marie Mazza and her husband, Frank; brother in-law, Joseph Petrenka and especially her loving mother-in-law, Lillian and her devoted father-in-law, Paul St. Marie. Vickie is survived by Mario, her devoted and loving husband of 60 years, her devoted daughter, Barbara and her husband, Steven Schladale; brother-in-law, Frank St. Marie and sister-in-law, Annette Petrenka, many nieces, nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews, whom she loved so very much and a very special friend of over 50 years, Katherine Daidone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 3, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. from the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Parish, Most Holy Rosary Church, Hopelawn. Entombment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Most Holy Rosary Building Fund or a charity of your choice.
