Victor T. Giordano, Sr. passed away on Wednesday November 6, 2013 at his home in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township. He was 73 years old. Born in Perth Amboy, he was a lifelong resident of Port Reading. Mr. Giordano worked in the family business Giordano & Molnar Trucking before starting VTG Hauling in Woodbridge; and had a special place in his heart for stray cats. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Arlene Santa Giordano; two sons, Victor T. Giordano, Jr. and James A. Giordano, both of Port Reading; a sister, Alberta Molnar, of Port Reading; and two brothers, Thomas Giordano and Albert Giordano, Jr., both of Avenel A Funeral will take place on Monday, November 11, 2013 10:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. Entombment will follow in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
