Tony De Marco passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at his home in Woodbridge.  He was 58 years old.

Born in Orange, he resided in Edison before moving to Woodbridge 30 years ago.

A 1984 graduate of J. P. Stevens High School in Edison, Mr. De Marco was employed as driver for Abbe Lumber in Avenel through Teamsters Local #522 in Rahway for the past 19 years.

He was an avid bowler who frequented Brunswick-Edison Lanes, Woodbridge Bowling Center and Majestic Lanes for many years, bowling multiple 300 games. He also enjoyed salt water fishing, listening to Rock n' Roll as well as watching Nascar, New York Giants Football ,The New York Mets and Barrons Softball.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years Barbara Ann Mitchell De Marco; his mother Lillian Rizzo De Marco of Florida, his father Tony De Marco of Florida;  five children, Robert Sheridan of Rahway, Michael Sheridan and his wife, Rebecca, of Toms River, Kristen Sodano-Natale and her husband, Nicholas, of Woodbridge, Katrina Medina and her husband, Federico, of Browns Mills and Nicholas De Marco of South Plainfield; grandchildren, Gianna, Riley, Juliette and Theodore; two sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the American Cancer Society (cancer.org) in Mr. De Marco's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
