Todd R. Hardy passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023. He was 58 years old.

Born in Rahway on January 22, 1965 he resided there before moving to the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township 10 years ago.

Todd just celebrated 30 years of employment with Amtrak, mostly as track foreman at New York Penn Station.

As a young man in Rahway, Todd was active in scouting and, eventually, attained the rank of Eagle Scout. More recently his passions were playing pool and his cherished 1966 Pontiac GTO.

Surviving are his wife of 9 years, Kelly Kilpatrick Hardy; mother in law, Marilyn Kilpatrick, of Inverness, FL; parents, Ruth and Robert R. Hardy, of LaBelle, FL; sister, Christine Hardy; brothers, Mark Hardy and Christopher Hardy; and nieces and nephews, Lucy, Henry, Jane, Lily and Jack.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Woodbridge Animal Shelter, 195 Woodbridge Avenue, Sewaren, NJ 07077 in Todd's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
