Thulasamma Rapoor, M.D., of Sayreville, New Jersey, died on January 5, 2025.   Dr. Rapoor was born on April 16, 1939, in Kadapa, Andrha Pradesh, India

Dr. Rapoor immigrated to the United States from India in the mid-1970's.  She successfully practiced medicine for decades, as a pediatrician with offices located in Parlin, New Jersey.  During her practice, Dr. Rapoor treated many of her patients into early adulthood, and touched many young lives with an impressive balance of sharp intellect and nurturing tenderness.  She is remembered fondly by her community of patients and their parents.

Dr. Rapoor will be remembered as a loving wife;  a proud and loving mother;  a loving daughter, sister and aunt;  a brilliant and caring pediatrician; and perhaps most indelibly, as a beautiful, kind, humble and gracious soul whose light was felt by anyone in her presence.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Sadasivaiah Meduru, M.D., and by her beloved son, Pramod Meduru, M.D., both of whom passed away in 2023.

Dr. Rapoor is survived by two sisters  Dr. Kamamma  Rapoor and  Dr. Seethamma Rapoor; two brothers   Dr. Venkatachalam Rapur and Dr. Ravindra Rapoor.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place Wednesday, January 29, 2025 2:30 pm at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick, NJ.
