Thomas A. Zavatoski, Jr. of the Avenel Section of Woodbridge Township passed away at home on Monday, September 5, 2022.  He was 55 years old.

Born in Elizabeth, he was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge Township.

Mr. Zavatoski was a 1985 graduate of Colonia High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1987 until 1991.

He was employed as a Truck Drive with Wakefern since 2004.

Mr. Zavatoski was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel.

He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy Williams Zavatoski.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Denise Dziezanowski Zavatoski; son, Thomas Joseph Zavatoski, United States Air Force, stationed at Hurlburt Field, Florida; father, Thomas A. Zavatoski, Sr., of Flanders, NJ; sisters, Tammy Grossberndt of Flanders and Sandy Rafalko of Hightstown.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.   Interment will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
