Thomas E. Quinn passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack.  He was 74 years old.

Born in Newark on April 17, 1951 to the late Mary Ann and Joseph Quinn, he has resided in Woodbridge for the past 56 years.

A 1969 Graduate of Woodbridge High School, Mr. Quinn earned his bachelors of Science Degree in Chemistry and Biology from Jersey City State College and was employed as a quality control supervisor with OSI Laser Diode in Edison for 44 years.

Thomas was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Known as pop pop aka popcorn, he loved his children and his grandchildren more than life. He was a hardworking and simple man who always put his family first. He will always be remembered for his kind heart, love for animals, and dedication to his family. His love and sense of humor will forever live on through his family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Quinn was predeceased by his brother, Richard Quinn.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Marie Fazio Quinn; children, Kelly Quinn of Woodbridge, T.J. Quinn and his wife, Nicole, of Clark, Julie Quinn and her husband, Derek, of Woodbridge, and Erin Krupinski and her husband, Drew, of Colonia; sister and brother in law Carol and Steve Ball, of Pennsylvania; Sister in law Lotte Quinn and grandchildren, Giavanna, Avery, Luke, Ryann and Reagan and many cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visiting hours will be on Monday May 19. 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
