Thomas Joseph Farrell of Woodbridge passed away on Monday, August 20, 2017 at JFK Medical Center. He was 86 years old.

Born in Jersey City; He resided in Woodbridge since 1964.

He was a Communicant of St. James R.C. Church.

Mr. Farrell was a United States Marine Corp Veteran serving in World War II.

He was employed with Western Electric and Lucent Technologies in Kearny for 32 years retiring in 1984.

He was predeceased by his former wife Mary Jane Harrigan; a granddaughter Nicole Farrell; his parents Thomas and Mary Anne Aranguiren Farrell; a sister Ronnie Colton; and his longtime companion Marilyn Oberlander.

He is survived by two daughters Kathy Younghans of Woodbridge and Mary Jane Quinones of Avenel; a son Thomas F. Farrell of Woodbridge; two grandchildren Dina Farrell and Daniel Quinones; a great granddaughter Delilah Jane Farrell-Lattanzio; and a sister Patricia Pine of California

Funeral will take place Thursday 10:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A 10:30 a.m. funeral liturgy will follow at St. James R.C. Church, Woodbridge.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
