Thomas R. Collins passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 at his home in East Brunswick. He was 67 years old.

Born on April 22, 1959 in Perth Amboy to the late Ramona (nee Malowicki) and Gerard Collins, he resided in South Amboy for many years before moving to East Brunswick 2 ½ years ago.

Mr. Collins was employed as a security guard with Johnson & Johnson Corporation in New Brunswick; and was an exempt member of the Perth Amboy Volunteer Fire Department and Fire Police Department.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his daughter, Kimberly Collins, in 2022.

Mr. Collins is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Odalys Formeza Collins; and brother, Gerard J. Collins.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 9:15 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Saint John Paul II Parish, Saint Stephen’s Catholic Church, Perth Amboy. Entombment will be in Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org) in Mr. Collins’ memory would be greatly appreciated by his loved ones.
