Thomas Boscia of The Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. He was 69 years old. Born in Newark, NJ; He resided in Avenel for the past 18 years. Mr. Boscia was employed as a Supervisor with The New Jersey Turnpike for 41 years retiring in 2010. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was predeceased by his parents Sylvester and Catherine Cantalupo Boscia. He is survived by his wife Maria Maslowska Boscia; three daughters Patricia Johnson of Bayonne, Paulina Porembski of Avenel, Marietta Boscia and Renee Bosica of Rutherford; a son Gary Boscia of Rutherford; a sister Fran Romano of Nutley; Three Grandchildren Alex, Katie, and Natalia. Funeral will take place Thursday, September 18, 2014 9:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www. Costello-greiner.com) 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Andrew's R.C. Church, Avenel. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
