Thomas J. Albino passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Southern Ocean County Medical Center in Manahawkin. He was 79 years old. Born in Lyndhurst, he resided in Edison before moving to Manahawkin 17 years ago. Mr. Albino received a bachelor's degree in business from Fordham University and was employed as vice president of marine insurance for Crum and Forster Insurance in New York City for 25 years before his retirement in 1994. He was also a United States Army veteran. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Edith Guido Albino. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Dawn Peterson Albino; a sister, Joyce Cassidy, of Lyndhurst; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Trinity Church Cemetery, Woodbridge. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
