Theresa B. McGuinn of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Abingdon Care and Rehabilitation Center in Green Brook. She was 90 years old.

Born in Port Reading; She resided in Avenel since 1994.

Mrs. McGuinn was employed with General Dynamics as an Engineering Aide for 18 years and then was employed as a Senior Clerk in Tax Assessors office for 30 years retiring in 2015.

She was a member of The Woodbridge United Methodist Church.

Mrs. McGuinn was predeceased by her son John Lee McGuinn who passed away in 1977; her parents Paul Cuntala Sr. and Augusta Veslowski Cuntala; her sisters Ann Hulak and Augusta James; her brothers Joseph Cuntala, Victor Cuntala,  Augustin Cuntala, Paul Cuntala ad Bernard Cuntala.

She is survived by her son Edward McGuinn and his wife Debra; her grandchildren Lindsay and Corey; her goddaughter and niece Michele Cuntala; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral will take place on Thursday, May 8, 2025 10:00 am at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.  Interment will follow at St. Gertrude's Cemetery Colonia.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
