Theresa Johnson passed away peacefully on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. She was 89 years old. Born in Keasbey, she has resided in Woodbridge since 1961. Mrs. Johnson was employed with Johnson and Johnson Corporation at their call center in New Brunswick for 6 years until retiring in 2008; and had previously worked with Costa and Hagen-Dazs ice cream companies in Woodbridge. She was a longtime communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge; and loved to read and sew. She was predeceased by her husband, Hudson Johnson, in 1983; and a sister, Ann Lowry. Surviving are a daughter, Susan Johnson of Annandale, and her boyfriend Dr. Robert Barricella of Cliffside Park; and a sister, Elizabeth Sullivan, of Linden. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and grand nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 9:45 a.m. from the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Interment will be in Saint James Cemetery.
