Theresa Holmes passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017. She was 88 years old.

Born in Newark, she was a longtime resident of Woodbridge.

Mrs. Holmes was predeceased by her husband, John L. Holmes, in 1990; and by a son, Joseph Neville, in 2015.

She is survived by her children, Robert Neville of Virginia, John Holmes of Waretown, Mary Gest of Stockton, Kathleen Stinnett of Pennsylvania, Patricia Petenko of Woodbridge, Theresa Dobrowski of Fords and Cynthia Triandafilou of Annandale; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home , 44 Green Street in Woodbridge . Visitation will be on Tuesday beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private with her husband at Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery.
