Theresa G. Almasi passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at her home in Woodbridge. She was 93 years old.

She was born in Perth Amboy and was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge and was a 1945 graduate of Woodbridge High School.

Mrs. Almasi was employed as a trademark associate with Merck & Company in Rahway for 38 years prior to her retirement in 1990.

She was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge and belonged to Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Mercedes #769, Woodbridge.

Mrs. Almasi was predeceased by her husband, Michael Almasi, Jr., in 1983; brothers, Peter Gatson and Andrew Gatson; and sisters, Judy Ferraro and Helen Donnelly.

Surviving are her children, Michele Farrell and her husband, Thomas, of Manahawkin and Michael Almasi III of Colonia; grandchildren, Michael Almasi IV, Jacqueline Almasi-Moore, Dominick Dercole, Michael Dercole and Stacey Dercole; and great grandchildren, Elise Gurovich and Michael Gurovich.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.
