Thaddeus F. "Ted" Tworkowski passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at his home in Rahway. He was 90 years old. Ted was born in Brooklyn where he lived most of his life and raised his family. He retired to Toms River before moving to Rahway. He was employed as a foreman with the New York Transit Authority for 21 years before retiring in 1986; and was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a New York Met Fan, an avid bowler and was active in Holiday City West Clubhouse activities. Ted was predeceased by his loving wife Josephine. He will be dearly missed by his two daughters, Lorraine Pingel and her husband, John, of Campbell, CA and Debra Ingrassia and her husband, Jimmy, of Woodbridge; four grandchildren, James, John, Danny and Christine; five great grandchildren, Ryan, Delaina, Jackson, Avery and Eden; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, and on Monday, October 5 from 9:15 until 10:00 am at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue in Woodbridge. Followed by entombment in Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
