Terri A.
Danyo
August 17, 1955 — December 21, 2022
Avenel
Terri A. Lebeda Danyo passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. She was 67 years old.
Born in Rahway on August 17, 1955 to the late Charlotte and Joseph L. Lebeda, she was a lifelong resident of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township.
Ms. Danyo was employed as office administrator for Doctor Mahesh Shah in Cranford for many years before retiring in 2019.
She was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel; and an avid bowler with the Union County Women's Majors League at Jersey Lanes in Linden.
Terri was an eternal ray of sunshine, brightening every room she entered. She talked to everyone, everywhere she went and made new friends so easily. Terri loved traveling, exploring new adventures and was a local favorite up in Saratoga, NY. She truly loved all of her family and friends and was the happy center of them all. Some of her favorite hobbies were sewing, cooking, baking and bowling... but her favorite was dancing. She was out on the dance floor before everyone else and the last one to leave it. No matter what life threw at Terri, she was always so positive, filled with joy and had the biggest heart and personality to make sure that everyone around her was smiling and happy.
Surviving are her devoted fiancé, George Lanzo; beloved children, Jaclyn and her, partner, Brandon Marucci, of Avenel and Peter G. Danyo, Jr. and his wife, Theresa, of Toms River; sisters, Janice Banadyga of Avenel and Karen Horvath and her husband, Bruce, of Woodbridge; adored grandchildren, Gianna Marie Danyo and Carmine Joseph Danyo; and loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (costello-koyen.com), 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org) in Terri's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
