Obituary

Teresa M. Pecora passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Saint Joseph's Senior Home in Woodbridge. She was 94 years old. Born in Newark, she has resided in the Colonia section of Woodbridge Township since 1972. Mrs. Pecora was a communicant of Saint Cecelia's Catholic Church in Iselin. She was employed as an inspector with Engelhardt Industries in Newark and Union for 24 ½ years before retiring in 1976. Teresa was predeceased by her husband, James Pecora, in 1984. Surviving are two daughters, Rae Roccuzzo and her husband, Michael, of Manalapan and Camille Vineyard of Avenel; a son, Philip Pecora, and his wife, Dianne, of Albrightsville, PA; a sister, Rose Haines, of Toms River; a brother, Michael Fabbricatore, and his wife, Dolores, of South Plainfield; eight grandchildren; and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Cecelia's Catholic Church, Iselin. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The family is deeply grateful to Saint Joseph's Senior Home in Woodbridge for the loving care Teresa received while in their care and would appreciate any memorial contributions be made there in her memory at One Saint Joseph Terrace, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
