Sylvia J. Stilo Gulliford Jozefowicz passed away at her home in Woodbridge on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.  She was 83 years old.

She was born in, and a lifelong resident of, Woodbridge.

Sylvia was a loving wife, mother, nana, sister, and aunt. She was a 1958 graduate of Woodbridge High School and a lifelong parishioner of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge. Sylvia worked as a cosmetician at Publix Pharmacy and CVS in Woodbridge for 45 years, before her retirement.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Josefowicz, in 2017; parents, Joseph and Anna Alessi Stilo; sisters, Dominica Martins and Beverly Stilo; brothers, Andrew Stilo and Manuel Martins; and nephew, Brian Martins.

Surviving are her son John Gulliford and his wife, Kim, of Winfield; her daughter, Donna Shirley and her husband, Scott, of Woodbridge; grandchildren, Nicholas Shirley, Johnny Gulliford, Anthony Shirley and Alexa Brennan; nieces, Valerie Martins, Monica Moore, Tara Palino, Melissa Rios, Jean, Ruth and Barbie Davis; nephews, Michael Stilo, Kirk Stilo, Anthony Palino, Scott Martins and Bob Davis; and cousin, Jeff Pino; Great nieces and nephew, Gianna, Zavier, Isabella, Angelina, and Lucianna. As well as many other great nieces and nephews.

Sylvia enjoyed spending time with her family whenever she could. Sylvia and her husband, Ron, enjoyed going out with friends and taking weekend trips to the Poconos. She also had a love for music and watching her husband, Ron and son, John, play in the band, Top Brass, for many years. Living down the street from her daughter Donna, allowed her to be a part of very special moments in their family's lives.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 9:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.  A  Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visiting hours will be on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in Sylvia's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
