It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Steven Wood, a beloved husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend. He passed away on December 25th at the age of sixty.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, passion and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends.

Steve affectionately known as Woody is survived by his wife of thirty-five years Theresa, high school sweethearts, their relationship was one of enduring love. He is also survived by his sons, Ryan and his wife Amanda, Brandon and his fiancé, Jenna; beloved pup, Chloe; sisters, Linda, Joanne and Cathy; and many nieces and nephews.

Woody lived a life full of love and laughter, he was a man of great integrity and warmth. He spent decades coaching his sons and children throughout the community. Coach Steve was loved by all. He will be remembered for his generosity, his sense of humor and his unshakable dedication to those he loved. His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Woody will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace surrounded by the love of his family and friends.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street (at Barron Avenue), Woodbridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:15 a.m. at Saint Cecelia's Catholic Church, Iselin. Cremation will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to "With Eddie's Help", 36 Aberdeen Avenue, Iselin, NJ 08830-2149 in Woody's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
