Steven J. Grof passed away on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. He was 85 years old.

Born on January 11, 1937 to the late Elizabeth and Janos Grof in Budapest, Hungary, he has resided in Woodbridge since 1970.

Mr. Grof was employed as a salesperson with Huffman Koos Furniture in Bridgewater for many years prior to his retirement; and was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Woodbridge.

Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Katalin Riszdorfer Grof; son, Peter Grof, of Dunellen; and beloved grandchildren, Hunter, Reese, Daphne and Leo.

A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated for Mr. Grof on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Woodbridge.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) in Mr. Grof's memory would be greatly appreciated by his family.
