Steven Drakoulis passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Complete Care at the Arbors Care Center in Toms River. He was 73 years old.

Born in Elizabeth on March 30, 1951 to the late Jean and James Drakoulis, he resided in the Sewaren section of Woodbridge Township for many years before moving to Toms River 11 years ago.

Mr. Drakoulis was a United States Army veteran; and was employed as a chemical operator with Kinder Morgan Corporation in Carteret for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 2010.

He enjoyed the company of family and friends; and was an avid bowler and talented handyman, During his retirement he loved spending his free time at the beach.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Drakoulis was predeceased by his daughter, Laurette L. Drakoulis; and brothers, Kosta Drakoulis and Johnny Drakoulis.

Surviving are his loving wife of 46 years, Linda McGuire Drakoulis; sons, Stephen C. Drakoulis and his wife, Erin, of Woodbridge and Erick S. Drakoulis and his wife, Blanca, of Toms River; sisters, Penny Grous of Toms River, Angela Drakoulis of Vero Beach, FL; Maria Diakoloukas of Toms River, Lulu Drakoulis of Waxhaw, NC,  Kristine Camacho of Union, and Dina Castillo of Vero Beach, FL; brother, George Drakoulis, of Del Ray Beach, FL; and beloved grandchildren, Kasady, Quinley and Emerson.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 9:30 AM from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Port Reading. Entombment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
