Stephen D. Scullion of Woodbridge passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. He was 42 years old.

Born in Edison, he was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge. He was a 1994 graduate of Woodbridge High School and was Captain of the 1993 State Championship Football team there.

Mr. Scullion was employed by the Woodbridge Township Division of Santitation. Known as "Big Steve", he also worked security for various area night clubs, most recently at the Stone Pony is Asbury Park; and worked since childhood with his Uncle Steve at Longhorn Fuel.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda Leeman Scullion; children, Alyssa and Jake Scullion; mother, Linda Scullion, of North Brunswick; father, Stephen Scullion, of Hodges, SC; sisters, Danielle Mastrangelo and her husband Anthony of Hodges, SC and Megan Scullion of South Amboy; niece, Samantha; nephew, Preston; and many, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family tributes will take place on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. Cremation will be private. Visiting hours will be on Friday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
