Stephen Wayne Gaunt of Southampton, NJ passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at The Veterans Administration Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. He was 62 years old. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana; He resided in Hackensack and Avenel before moving to Southampton 1 ½ years ago. Mr. Gaunt retired from United States Army as a Chief Warrant Officer W4. He was employed as the Director of Safety and Security at Hoboken University Medical retiring in 2012. Mr. Gaunt was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Avenel, The Westwood American Legion and The Westwood Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his wife Mi Hyang Suk Gaunt; a daughter Stefanie Siebeking; three sons Adam Gaunt, Brian Gaunt, and Jacob Charles Gaunt; his mother Ruth Ann Schinnere Gaunt; two brothers Thomas Gaunt and Herbert Gaunt; and several grandchildren. A funeral service will take place on Thursday evening 6:30 p.m. at Central Baptist Church 505 Wylie Streeet, Avenel, NJ; a visitation will follow until 9:00 p.m. A Committal service will take place Friday 10:30 a.m. at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Park, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08561.
