Stephanie M. Smith passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022.  She was 38 years old.

Born in Edison, she was a lifelong resident of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township.

Stephanie was a 2001 graduate of Woodbridge Township High School; and was employed as a clerk at Woodbridge Deli and Mazzella's Deli in Mountainside.

She was predeceased by her father, Thomas T. Smith, in 2019; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Cornacchia; paternal grandparents, Eleanor and Henry Smith; uncle, Joseph Cornacchia; and boyfriend, John Desatnyik.

Surviving are her mother, Linda Cornacchia Smith; sisters, Melissa McGrath of Concord, NC and Lindsay Doyle of Woodbridge; nieces, Brenna and Daniella McGrath; nephews, Michael and Ryan Doyle; and her beloved dog, Rocco.

Private funeral arrangements were under the direction of Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, Avenel.
