Stanley Mokrzycki passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Reformed Church Home in Old Bridge surrounded by his loving family. He was 85 years old.

Born in Bayonne, he resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township and in Edison for many years before moving to East Brunswick in 2013.

Mr. Mokrzycki was employed as a chemist and international liaison with CPC International in Union for 30 years before his retirement in 1985.

He was a communicant of Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Avenel; belonged to Saint Andrew Council 5088, Knights of Columbus, Avenel; and was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was predeceased by his wife, Rachele Napolitano Mokrzycki, in 2008; his parents, Barbara and Joseph Mokrzycki; and six sisters and brothers.

Surviving are his daughters, Susan Rutkowski of East Brunswick, Doris Davie and her husband, Campbell, of Easton, PA and Nancy Mokrzycki of East Brunswick; seven grandchildren, Robert, Michael, Daniel, Ryan, Sean, Rachele and Brandon and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Andrew Catholic Church, Avenel. Interment will be in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
