Sidney R. (Bob) Pennachio of Avenel, NJ passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Warren Haven Rehabilitation Center in Oxford. He was 86 years old.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts; He resided in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township NJ for many years.

He was employed in a variety of positions throughout his lifetime that took advantage of his love of driving and sales including being a truck driver, a Sales Executive at Steel Tube Manufacturing and owning his own taxi company prior to retiring to Las Vegas, NV.

In his younger years, Bob was an avid ballroom dancer and enjoyed telling stories of the many girls who would line up to dance with him prior to meeting his wife Shirley (DeMarco) Pennachio.

Bob was predeceased by his wife, Shirley, in 1989; mother, Antoinette Pennachio; step-father George Weil; and brother, George "Butch" Weil.  Bob was also predeceased by his significant other of 18 years, Sheila Summers.

Surviving Bob are his children Tracey Pennachio (Ron) of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Anthony Pennachio (Lori) of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and Susan Martin (Rob) of Stuart, Florida. In addition, Bob leaves behind five grandchildren Dylan, AJ, Jacob, Ethan, and Eric, all of whom he adored very much.

He was a communicant of St. Andrews R.C. Church in Avenel.

The Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.

The Funeral will take place on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 8:30a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home. A 9:30a.m. Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, Avenel with burial to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
