Sandra M. Hayes passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 at her home in the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township. She was 77 years old.

Born in Bayonne on January 15, 1945 to the late Adam and Anne Kiesnowski, she has resided in Avenel for the past 57 years.

Mrs. Hayes was employed in the accounts payable department of Recycle, Inc. in South Plainfield for many years before retiring in 2008.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hayes was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Hayes, in 2016.

Surviving are her loving children, Barbara Hayes of Old Bridge, Brenda Robattino and her husband, Peter, of Oakland and Edward J. Hayes of Avenel; sister, Judith Czarneski, of Monroe Township; and grandson, Nicholas Robattino.

Funeral services were private under the direction of Costello-Koyen Funeral Home, 399 Avenel Street, Avenel.

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (ocrahope.org) in Mrs. Hayes' memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
