Sandra H. Encardone passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at her home in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township. She was 75 years old.

Born in New York City on March 24, 1947 to the late Ruth and Philip Zitter, she resided in Edison before moving to Iselin 17 years ago.

Mrs. Encardone was employed as a teacher with the Elizabeth Board of Education for many years prior to her retirement.

Surviving are her son, Matthew Encardone and his wife, Dawn, of Manchester; sister, Alyce Zitter, of Georgia; and granddaughter, Angela Encardone; and step grandsons, Michael and Vinnie Grausso.

Funeral services will take place at graveside on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin under the direction of Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, Woodbridge.
