Sandra J. Banko of the Sewaren section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 80 years old.

She has resided in the Sewaren section of Woodbridge Township since 1963.

Mrs. Banko was employed as a School Bus Aide with the Woodbridge Township Board of Education for 10 years before retiring in 1995; and was past president of the PTO at School #12 in Sewaren.

Her husband, Charles Banko, Sr., passed away in 2015.

Surviving are four sons, Charles Banko, Jr., Steven Banko, Bruce Banko and David Banko; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge.

Visiting hours will be Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
