Obituary

Samuel Louis Javier, fondly called "Sam" by both family and friends passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at his home in Jersey City, New Jersey. He was 28 years old when he was called by his Creator.

He was born on March 11, 1998, in Edison, New Jersey. He took residence in other cities within New Jersey, living with his parents, such as in Piscataway, NJ until finally, he lived on his own in Jersey City in 2023 when his parents, both retired and decided to relocate in the State of Florida.

Sam completed his elementary at St Matthew School in Edison, NJ and high school at St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, NJ and graduated in 2016. He continued to pursue his college degree at Rutgers University, NJ wherein he graduated in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and human resources. While at Rutgers University, he was involved with the Rutgers Dance Troupe where he found his passion for dancing and choreography.

After college, he continued to pursue his love for dancing and choreography with his affiliation with professional dance troupes based primarily in New York City. He was a constant choice to be a back-up dancer in the stage performance of various musical artists. Eventually, he went solo as a Hip-hop professional dancing instructor and choreographer under the monicker "Samjavi." In such a short span of time, his talent spread everywhere via the social media platforms of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and others. His skills and talent have brought him all over the world, not only in the United States but all over Europe and Asia.

Sam is survived by his loving parents, his Dad - Luis Chiong Javier and his Mom -Maria Elena Alquiroz-Javier, now residents of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by his long time soulmate, the love of his life, Pauline Casino. His relatives on the mother side of the family: Auntie Florina-Raro, and Uncle Paul Michael Alquiroz. On his father side of the family: Uncle Ramon and Aunties Wilhelmina Javier- Juliano, Josefina Javier- Blanco, Fatima Javier- Lontok, Luisa Javier- McGinn,

Connie Javier- Abalos, and Luz Javier- Santiago as well as the other 33 cousins and numerous nieces/ nephews, Aunts & Uncles and friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 9:15 am, a final viewing and prayers for the immediate family at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home at 44 Green Street, Woodbridge, NJ.

The funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the Saint James Roman Catholic Church at 369 Amboy Avenue; Woodbridge, NJ 07095. To be followed by Cremation that will be private and for the immediate family only.
