Rosemarie Ricco Egert passed away on Tuesday September 11, 2018 at Brooklyn Hospital. She was born Jan. 21, 1938 in Manhattan, and resided the past 43 years in Brooklyn, NY.

Mrs. Egert was employed with the United States Drug Enforcement Agency in Lower Manhattan for 20 years before her retirement in 2011. She previously worked for the US Attorney's office in Brooklyn.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Josephine (Francione) Ricco; sisters, Angelina Ricco and Antoinette Chapman; and brothers, Angelo Ricco and Joseph Ricco, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years Gustave Egert; and 7 nieces and nephews, and 1 grandnephew.

Some of her interests were traveling, plays and movies, and most of all visiting with family and friends.

A funeral service will take place on Monday, September 17, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. Entombment will follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. Visitation for family and friends hours will be on Monday beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
