Roseann Flanzbaum of the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 88 years old. Born in New York City; She resided in Iselin for the past 65 years. Roseann was a proud graduate of St. Michael's High School in Manhattan. Mrs. Flanzbaum was a longtime Communicant of St. Cecelia's R.C. Church in Iselin where she was a member of the Choir. She was a member of the Iselin Women's Club and was a member of various area Parent Teacher Organization when her children attended school. Her greatest joy in her life was her family. Mrs. Flanzbaum was predeceased by her husband Daniel Flanzbaum who passed away in 1993; her parents Thomas and Catherine Moylan Flaherty. Surviving are two daughters Chara Carmon of Iselin, and Mona Marceau of Vermont; two sons Mark Flanzbaum of Florida, and Bart Flanzbaum of Scotch Plains; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral will take place Thursday, June 18, 2015 9:15 a.m. from Costello-Koyen Funeral Home (www.Costello-koyen.com) 399 Avenel Street, Avenel. A 10:00 a.m. funeral liturgy will take place at St. Cecelia's R.C. Church, Iselin. Entombment will be in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge.
