Rose Scuotto passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison. She was 91 years old.

She was born in Port Reading and resided there before moving to Perth Amboy 50 years ago.

Miss Scuotto was employed as an agent with the Jacko Real Estate Agency in Perth Amboy for many years.

She was a communicant of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Port Reading; and was a longtime member of the Deborah League of Colonia. During World War II Rose supported the troops by tap dancing for their entertainment.

Rose was predeceased by her parents, Anna and Joseph Scuotto; sisters, Anna Scuotto, Adeline Fleischman, Josephine Vicinanza and Sue Ambozy; and brother, Albert Scuotto.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews and their families. She will also be missed by the many pets she loved and cared for.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home , 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Port Reading. Interment will be in Saint James Cemetery, Woodbridge. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions to Deborah Hospital Foundation, 212 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015 in Rose's memory would be greatly appreciated by her family.
