Rose I. Horvath passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Complete Care at Green Acres Nursing Center in Toms River. She was 92 years old.

Born on March 6, 1929 in Perth Amboy, NJ, she married John J. Horvath in 1949. John and Rose lived in Perth Amboy before moving to Toms River in 1991.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John J. Horvath, and sisters, Mary, Helen and Diane.

Surviving are her son, John A. Horvath and his wife, Joan, of San Diego, CA; and grandson, Russell.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street (at Barron Avenue), Woodbridge. Interment will follow in Clover Leaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visitation for family friends will be on Thursday morning beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The family will be holding a celebration of life gathering in memory of Rose on a later date.
